![]() With this music I am attempting to bring a couple styles together i guess and strong enphasis on guitar interplay. We've played together and seperately for years with many members but whatever the incarnation it has never seemed to be consistant. ![]() We're from Cardiff, UK and have made absolutly no impact anywhere or have any fans. The band may or may not exist at the current time of writing however we recorded this live with the full band. I'm going back to do the vocals (they were rushed on at the end of the sesh) and tighten up a few small things. These are from a very recent recording session. Hi Kerry, you've got a lot of resposes here so i don't mind being lost in the shuffle. There's just no way around it, the guy's a major talent. People need to go see this performer, though there'll be another chance at his record release party on March 3, venue to be announced. I remember having the same reaction on Septemat Joe Fielder's "Let's Independent!" at Boardner's (God, I miss those nights!) when I first saw Tenlons Fort. Joined onstage for one song, "You Won't Be With Me" by Nate Cole of Castledoor, the harmony vocals were so perfect I melted on the spot. Beautifully produced by Will Courtney, each song is a precious gem, full of such longing and emotional resonance as to be nearly overwhelming, stated with a profound eloquence that one hears too rarely, and sung in his direct and unaffected singing style. It was all new material from a CD, of which he slipped an advance copy to me, called Shelters, to be released under his banner, Tenlons Fort. I was at The Echo one night last November to see Avi Buffalo when I saw my friend Jack Gibson, who performed a solo set around 1 AM that stood the hair on the back of my neck straight out. I hope that the new year and the music finds your well! I'm also planning on sending you a proper presskit. For free download! so you can even take on the pod to go in order to get an idea of the albums. I have a website with some of the songs streaming and also I have sampler tracks for each album, essentially musical trailers comprised of song snippets from each album. One album, Mifology, is a 15 song album in which I play all the instruments and did all the arrangements, the other is a solo acoustic, recorded live in the studio, of 20 songs. I started my own record label and publishing company for my own music, hopefully in the future I can expand on it.In 2009,I released two albums of original music for sale through my website and ITunes. My name is Joe Mifsud, I'm a multi-instrumentalist from Harrington Park, NJ. Any luck on securing the rights to the name of the label that you guys wanted to use? I believe that record labels run by established artists such as yourselves will be the way of the future and a way to maintain ethics and artistic integrity remains intact. Hey Kerry! I heard the news about the record label endeavor that you and Billy have planned.
